Projects - for Children & Communites

Get an overview of our ongoing initiatives and projects – and learn more about our approach to voluntary work in Madagascar. We spend significant time in the villages, working closely with local communities to create sustainable projects.Their knowledge and insight are crucial for identifying real needs, assessing where our efforts can make the biggest difference, and setting the right priorities for each project. We believe that lasting change is created through local engagement, participation, and co-ownership. Therefore, we involve the communities both in the practical work and in the overall direction and development of the projects. It is a genuine collaborative process – centered on mutual respect and shared responsibility.

We Invest in Madagascar's Future; It's Children

The idea of creating the non-profit organisation NORA-Madagascar originally arose from a visit to a school where the kitchen hut had collapsed and there were no funds to provide school meals. That is why school kitchens and school meals are one of our central and first projects!

Every Dime Counts: Support Us in Creating a Better Future

Your donation to NORA-Madagascar creates lasting change in local communities. With minimal overhead, your support directly funds vital projects like school kitchens and solar lighting, empowering children and strengthening communities on Madagascar’s East Coast.
