The NORA-International Board

Trine Bom | Founder & Chair

As the founder of NORA and Chair of both the International and Madagascar boards, Trine provides the ultimate strategic bridge. Living permanently in Madagascar, she manages all daily project oversight and development. This dual-hatted role ensures that NORA-International’s funding is always rooted in the immediate, real-world needs of our partner communities.

Peder Møller Andersen | Treasurer

Peder provides the rigorous financial backbone of the organization. He serves as the Treasurer for NORA-International, managing the Danish funding agency’s fiscal integrity. As a member of the NORA-Madagascar Board, he ensures that our financial strategy aligns perfectly with our field operations, creating a closed-loop system of accountability.

Lise Bidstrup | Board Member

Author, Strategist, and Global Advocate.

Lise brings a powerful combination of organizational governance and international field experience to NORA-Madagascar. With a background as an Executive Board member and Treasurer for the Danish Authors’ Society, her expertise in strategic management and financial oversight is exceptionally well-founded.

Her work with the Danish Refugee Council and projects in Bangladesh –alongside her experience in over 75 countries – provides her with a unique “boots on the ground” perspective. In 2017, she was named Author of the Year for the Børnenes Ulandskalender, proving her ability to translate complex global sustainability into clear, engaging narratives.

Lise strengthens our board with the rare ability to bridge high-level strategy with a deep, practical understanding of international development.
