How to Give
We have a two-tiered non-profit structure to make global giving even simpler.
On this page you can support NORA’s work via credit card payment, bank transfer or MobilePay to to NORA-International’s official fundraising account in Denmark.
Your Support Means More Than You Think
Every project, from building school kitchens, providing school-lunch to installing solar lights, addresses genuine needs and creates lasting value. Donations are final and non-refundable. Once received, your gift goes directly to work in our programs.
Recurring donations
If you choose a recurring donation, the selected amount will automatically be charged once a year until you cancel. You can cancel your recurring future donation at any time from the My Account section
One-off donations
A one-off donation is charged once and does not renew automatically.
Donations and refunds
All donations are voluntary and non-refundable once processed. As a donor, you do not obtain any membership or voting rights in NORA or any influence over its governance. If you believe a payment has been made in error or charged more than once, please contact NORA at info@nora-madagascar.com.
Receipt
A confirmation of your donation will be sent to the email address provided when making the donation.
Personal information
Personal information provided in connection with a donation is processed in accordance with NORA’s Privacy Policy.
As a donor, you may receive occasional updates from the field, special newsletters and other updates on NORA’s progress, impact and what’s next.

Why NORA-Madagascar Works
Locally Rooted and Present
We work closely with local leaders, families, and professionals – from idea to action – to ensure that projects are based on real needs and create lasting value. Our daily management is physically present and has a direct, daily overview of all projects. This gives us a unique opportunity to act quickly, follow up in real-time, and ensure quality and accountability.
Effective Organization, High Transparency
We are a small organization with clear structures and high transparency. Everyone works voluntarily and unpaid – we have minimal administrative costs, and we document how every donation is used. Our work is driven by professionalism, dedication, and the desire to create real change. We don’t believe in quick fixes, but in strengthening structures, capacity, and relationships over time.
Financial Accountability
We take financial responsibility seriously. We work with double-entry bookkeeping, local, and external audits. We also operate with staged disbursements and monitoring: for all projects, funds are released in stages, and only after achieved milestones and documentation. Our board closely monitors the projects, ensuring continuous control and follow-up.
